The Solar Kit is used for the integration of the GPI and the windsock in the SILAS system. The Solar Kit is an auxiliary battery power system, rechargeable by means of the energy received from a dedicated solar panel. 

The Solar Kit consists of:

• 1 Solar Panel, placed on a special metal support structure and fixing to the ground;
• 1 Solar Controller unit, which includes:
  • 1 Battery;
  • 1 Charge controller;
  • 1 Control electronics to allow communication with the LCU (Light Control Unit) via wireless communication
